Me as a Teacher

As a performer and musician I have spent years building the skills and confidence I need to be successful, and I want to do the same for you. I am well-versed in multiple genres of singing and provide a well-rounded education to my musicians. I recognize the potential in each one of my students and want to help them see that potential in themselves. I’ve seen my students’ self-esteem and skill-set consistently rise and grow. I am experienced in teaching singers of all ages and backgrounds and find it so exciting to be part of developing a new generation of musicians. I absolutely love what I do and I am overjoyed to be able to share my passion with others.  I’m a patient, adaptable, and professional voice, choral and piano instructor ready to help you reach your goals. Please contact me today so we can start working together to build your confidence as a musician and performer.

Justine Wildauer, Wildauer Photography

“Lizzie is an amazingly skilled instructor who loves and directs her students well. Her talent in, and love for, music and the arts is evident in her patient instruction and genuine relationship with each student. Our three children have benefited greatly from her instruction in years past through choir, drama, and musical theatre!”

John Truitt, Viva Downtown

"I've had the pleasure of working with Lizzie Stoxen in community productions. She is a terrific music instructor and is engaged with each of her students and I have seen many students improve dramatically under her direction. I look forward to working with her in the future."

Nicki Bonura, Cascade Theatre

"I loved working with Lizzie when she was our vocal director for the Cascade's production of Tarzan. She has an amazing ear for detail and is great at maintaining a balance between making her students feel comfortable and confident, and yet still pushing themselves to be the best performers they can be."
